Tell Congress to Protect California’s Central Coast!

The effort to permanently protect California’s Central Coast took an important step forward when Senator Barbara Boxer joined Representatives Capps, Brownley, and Farr to introduce the Central Coast Heritage Protection Act to add wilderness, wild and scenic rivers, and other protective designations in the Los Padres National Forest and Carrizo Plain National Monument. But Sen. Boxer and Rep. Capps are retiring at the end of 2016, so the future of these lands is uncertain. Let’s keep the momentum going by urging our congressional representatives to request committee hearings for these important bills.
